Homer's DEAtii.-A horrible accident oc
curred in Pittsburg on Tuesday last, resulting
in the immediate death of a lad mined Thomp
son, employed at Lowry's black mill. It appears
that deceased had cc mien to do something
about thy; shaft, when the end of it caught his
clothes in some way, and he was whirled around
several. times, his head at every revolution
striking the floor with such violence that his
brains were scattered in every direction.
