Fee Bills. —A correspondent who comes very
near being guilty of manslaughter if the kings vag
tucuUr, and who neglects to give us his name and
reasons for the request, asks us to publish in our
next (this) issue, the Sheriff's and Pro'honotary's
fee bills. For the present, we, in part, relax our
rule as to annonym >us communications, but, as the
bill* of these officers are rather long we can only
give a small portion at present. Our "Sub" —as he
signs himself—can make himself familiar with the
portion published—aud upon pioof of the fact th it
he has done so, we will publish another installment
for him.

Lust la the Woods.—A German boy aged
about 12 years, son of Charles Senrnge, of New
York city, who, was visi ing some friends at the
German settlement, in Forkstoo, in this couuty, one
day last week, wandered into the woods on a gun
excursion, where be became lost. On his failing to
return, at night, bis friends became alarmed for his
safety. and with the people in the neighborh->od
made search for him luring five days and nights
traversing in all directions the almost interminable
forrests which strct-h away on all ailes from the
Settlement. On the fifth day—having fottned a
great circle surrounding a large scope of woods and
searching tow reds a common center —he was found
but a few miles from the settlement, considerably
worn out and emaciated from anxiety, want of food
and exposure He had, heard the firing of their
guns, several times, but had not been able to reach
the place, in time to find the person firing. His
own gun had become useless from dampness. He
bad slept under fallen trees, and in hollow logs at
night, and .had subsisted upon the wild berries
which be had found in his wanderings.
