The bill against AVheeloek, was ignored Lust la the Woods.—A German boy aged about 12 years, son of Charles Senrnge, of New York city, who, was visi ing some friends at the German settlement, in Forkstoo, in this couuty,one day last week, wandered into the woods on a gun excursion, where be became lost. On his failing to return, at night, bis friends became alarmed for his safety. and with the people in the neighborh->od made search for him luring five days and nights traversing in all directions the almost interminable forrests which strct-h away on all ailes from the Settlement. On the fifth day—having fottned a great circle surrounding a large scope of woods and searching tow reds a common center —he was found but a few miles from the settlement, considerably worn out and emaciated from anxiety, want of food and exposure He had, heard the firing of their guns, several times, but had not been able to reach the place, in time to find the person firing. His own gun had become useless from dampness. He bad slept under fallen trees, and in hollow logs at night, and .had subsisted upon the wild berries which be had found in his wanderings.
