Saturday, Nov. 12th, Drs. I. f B. Graves of Corning, N. Y., and M. L. Bacon, of Mansfield, Pa., operated nn a Mrs. John Korean at Mansfield Pa., for ovarian dropsy, removing twenty-five quarts of fluid from the abdomen. On the following Tnosday Dr's Graves and Bacon assisted by Drs. Mills and Graves Jr., of Corning, N. T., removed from tho same person's ab domen ten quarts more of tho fluid and an ovarian tumor weighing twenty-five pounds. The operation, undoubtedly the greatest one ever performed in this section of the country was in every respect successful.
