WATBOLS, in tho 24th year of her age.
Emma possessed a'character of unusual amiability
and gentleness. Of her it may be ‘truly said,
M Good thoughts where her footsteps pressed

Her lovely qualities greatly endeared her not only
to the family of which she was apprized member, but
to a large circle of friends, by whom she will long be
missed and in-whose affections .end memories sbo will
continue to live in srngranco and glowing beauty.
Death hod no ten’ors for her. She had placed her
trust in the Savior and rejoiced in the forgivness of sins
through the blood of Christ, nod wasio the lajt, firm
in faith that he would leave or forsake her.
She bad no desire to recover, but felt “to die was
gain." She urged upon those around her. the impor

to meet them all in heaven. She often said “ God
will come and take home his child.". “ I shall rest in
heaven." Dying in f£llh so strong and with such
childish trust in God. Ob! who would wish her back
