The HOWARD ASSOCIATION of Philadelphia
in view of the awful destruction of human life and
health, caused by Sexual diseases, and (he deceptions
which are practiced upon the unfortunate victims of
snch diseases by Quacks, have directed their Con
sulting Surgeon, as a CHARITABLE ACT worthy
of their name, to give MEDICAL ADVICE GRA
TIS, to all persons thns affiicied, (Male or Female,)
wh? apply by letter, with & description of their Con
dition, (age, occupation, hahits.of life, dwb,) and in
case of extreme poverty and suffering, to FURNISH
MEDICINES FREE OF CHARGE.
The Howard Association is a benevolent Institu
tion, established by special endowment, for the re
lief of tho sick'and distressed, afflicted with “Viru
lent and Epidemic Diseases,” and its funds can be
used for no other purpose. It has now a surplus of
means, which the Directors have voted to advertise
the abov« notice. It I. needless, to add that the-As
sociation commands the highealMedical skill of liie
age, and witl fnmlsh the most approved modern
treatment.—Valuable advice also given to sick and
