The merits of this machine consists in
part, in the attachment of curved knives
to the arms of the cutting-wheel, the shear
ing cut across the mouth-piece, the great
power and directness of the blow, by which
treble the volume of material is cut,-with
less power than is required by any other
machine ; those combined with its durabil
ity and simplicity of construction, command
public attention. Nothing liable to get out
of order, but what a boy could remedy with
a; pocket wrench.
