Next Week Will Be Christmas Prepa-
tion Week.
A Great Merchandise Movement to adjust the Store and Its Stocks to the De
mands of the Christmas Season.
With less than five weeks to Christmas, we are turning our attention to prepa
rations for the busiest time of the store year-the Christnui season. We have"
planned for a bigger holiday business than ever, and tremendous purchases of gift
goods and wear things of every description are now in the store with more and big
ger shipments to follow.
These Vast Stocks
Of holiday goods will require lots of room for their proper display, and so we are
going to devote the entire week beginning with Monday, Nov. 25, condensing
stocks, clearing shelves, cases and racks. Dozens of small lots, broken assortments
and odds and ends but seasonable, desirable and stylish merchandise just the
same from our record Fall business will be closed out at sacrifice prices far, far
below the regular values. December is here and time is too precious to waste
so we have cut prices deeply to make room as quickly as possible.
Each Day During This Event
Will demonstrate our readiness to meet your every requirement from the greatest
variety and quantity of reliable merchandise we have ever gathered together at this
season.
There Will Not Be a Day Next Week
When anyone who visits this store will not be impressed with the exceptionally
economical buying possibilities presented on every side. Many articles are es
pecially suitable for Christmas gifts.
Watch For Articles
In next Monday's Oil City papers, and plan to take advantage of this underselling
event.

The Gentleman From
Tionesta
Who bought an Overcoat for himself and four other members of his family from us on Satur
day last certainly spoke volumes when he said:
"I don't know anything about clothing. I am at the mercy of the man who sells it and
yet I can see plainly more value in your Overcoat than any I have seen elsewhere."
You have no idea how clothing can be "doctored." If we were to adopt a "doctoring"
policy we could become wealthy. But back of our business ambitions there is an honorable
principle that is worth more to us than money can buy.
We want to have every man look us in the eye and when he says "How do I" to us we
want to know there is friendliness behind it.
You can't win a man's friendship by imposing on his confidence. We shall never allow a
suspicious article of merchandise to enter our store if we can avoid it. We will pay the penalty
if such should happen. We want you to be as pleased with us as we are to have you pleased.
This is Shirt and Underwear Week.
We have some remarkably good values in both.
