The two wells are Bald to be good for 2,300,000 feet per day, wblcb ought to put the gas company in tine shape as far as an adequate sup ply lor the winter is conceined. It will be a wise move as a mattor of economy, for by so doing they will avoid Ibe trouble and expense of an audit ot tbe school sccoonts at this time, whicb would be necessary were a change made. Tbe regular audit is made at the end of the school year, July 1st. The decisions folllow: "The term of the treasurer of school boards wbo were elected in June or July, 1911, expires on tbe first Monday of De cember, 1011, but tbe new boar! can re elect the treasurer, whether be is re elected as a director or not, snd he can then continue In office until July, 1012. Prom now on in every city, town and bamlet tbe Christmas Seals will be bought by persons Interested in the prevention of tuberculosis In this State. Tbe Penn'a Society for tbe prevention of Tuberculosis bas ordered 3,000,000, A million and a half of these have already been distributed, and duriug tbe next month tbe remainder will be. placed throughout the State. Tbe seal used this year is better look ing In design than last year's. It shows a snow sceuo with a farmhouse in tbe centre. Near It are two Christmas trees Above the farmhouse are tbe words American Red Cross and tbe Red Cross itself, wbile below are printed Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This yesr's seal, therefore, will make an at tractive addition to Christmas presents and all packages. Tbe United States Government has given permission for tbe placing of tbe seals on tbe back of letters. From -now on tbe mails will be full of the spirit of Christmas. Thousands of letters will carry on tbeir backs the seal of the red cross. It is expected tbat this year's sale will exceed all others.
