Prince Will Not Go to Washington.
London, March 17. It Is not
thought In London that should the
Prince of Wales be invited officially
to go to Washington while in Canada
that he would he able to ac
cept. It has been reported here thnt
such an Invitation was in contempla
tion. According to the present ar

the tercentenary at Quebec will be
most brief. He will not go anywhere

been received from Montreal and
other cities. He will not -bo accom

TAILORED SUITS

$16.50, $18.50.
Never since we started this Cloak and Suit Depart
ment have popular priced suits received so much careful
thought and consideration by our cloak and suit buyer as
they have this season. First we sought out the very
best makers of medium and popular priced suits. You
know that's the way the suit business is divided up.
Each suit house has their specialties. We shopped from
one end of the suit market to the other. One suit Irom
this house, two or three irom another, a half dozen from
a third and so on 'till we have finally assembled what we
consider the handsomest showing ol suits between $12
and f 20 shown by any store in this section of the state.

EASTER ON THE ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK.
The annual Easter parade on the Boardwalk at At
lantic City is one of the grandest sights in the world. It
can't be duplicated. For hours that great esplanade,
stretching for five miles along the ocean's edge, is throng
ed with the fairest and best of American society.
Thousands from all parts of the country go every year
to participate in this formal opening of the r5ost-Lenten
season, until Easter at Atlantic City has come to be a
National event.
At no period of the year is Atlantic City more attract
ive than at Easter. Band concerts are given daily on the
piers, with dances in the evening. All the larger hotels
have their own orchestras, and the theatres offer special
attractions. Nowhere is the after-Lent gaiety more
pronounced, or more enjoyable, than at Atlantic City.
A Special Easter Excursion to Atlantic City, Cape
May, Ocean City, and Wildwood will run from Buffalo,
Erie, Rochester, Titusville, Kenovo, and principal inter
mediate points on Thursday, April 16. Round-trip
tickets, good for fifteen days, will be sold at the follow
ing very low rates: Buffalo, $11.00; Erie, $11.00;
Rochester, $10.00; Renovo, $8.40; and at proportionate
rates from other points.
Tickets will be good going on all regular trains on
date of excursion. Trains leaving Buffalo, 10:45 P. M.
and Erie, 5:55 P. M., with sleeping cars and coaches to
Philadelphia connect for Atlantic City via Delaware
River Bridge, all-rail route. Tickets will be good to
stop off in Philadelphia on the return trip.
