The editions of books printed 200 or 300 years ago are almost entirely free from typographical errors, which may be attributed to the fact that early publishers were generally eminent scholars, and themselves gave much attention to the revision of their proofs. At certain times 110 one may travel the same route as the sheep, which have the right to graze on all open and common land on the way. For this purpose a road nine ty yards wide must be left on all in closed and private property. The shep herds lead their (locks, which follow after nnd around. New Zealand, Australia, the Samoan and the Solomon islands, ns well as portions of the Hawaiian group, are the homes of various species of worms with thick, heavy bodies nnd with a well defined neck connecting the body with a head that Is a startling remind er of that of the monkey. "When she took a car for home, she met a friend and grew interested iu conversation with her. She put her colu iu the slot nbsentmlndedly. The driver turned as It struck the box. You remember the coin fell into n glass compartment first, and then the driver pushed a lever which sent it into the strong box below. "As my wife heard the dick of the lever she thought of her five dollar goldpioce. She looked iu her purse. Sure enough, it was gone. She went forward and spoke to the driver. Ho said he hadn't looked very carefully, hut he thought there were only throe nickels lu the glass receptacle when ho pushed the lever. "My wife insisted. The driver said If she would ride to the end of the line the cashier at the station would open the box. This meant a Journey of two miles beyond our street, and my wife was iu a hurry. "An old gentleman who sat by tho door said he was going to the end of the line and offered to give her $4.i)o cents and get the goldpioce at the sta tion. My wife thanked him nnd took the money.
