of the United Gas and Coke company
of Wett Virginia, a heavy creditor,
Robert F. Burnett cf Uoston was ep
polnted receiver for the New England
gas and Coke company by Judge Colt
of the United States Circuit Court.
The move is said to be the fir?t step
toward a reorganization, it Is further

Gas and Coke company 1b a friendly

The announcement of the appoint
ment of a receiver was followed at
once by the appearance of circulars
