dispatch published the other day. Of
course, it refers to a railroad smashup.
Nearly a year ago Bryan was in an
other sort of collision. His train ran
into the people's train result, Bryan
was Injured politically and many thou
sands of fellow travelers met their po
litical death. Bryan still manages to
get about on free silver coinage
crutches, but the Injuries of last year
are permanent. He will never recover
to the extent that he hopes. He will
never reach he White House except he
goes there as a visitor.
