painful accident near Tylersburg on
last Sabbath. He was riding his
young horse along the track of the!

up behind him, at which the animal!
became fractious, and after several at
tempts succeeded in throwing Mr.
Hickling off, his back striking the'
corner of a rock, bruising him badly
and for a time nearly taking hisVl

Tho dedication of Jenks Lodge, No.
250, I. O. O. ., at Marienville on
iFridny, 24th inst., is an event that
will long be remembered, both by
tboso who participated in the ceremon
ies as well as by those who were wit
nesses of the event.
The No. 250 does not at all indi
cate the regular consecutive number
of the Lodge in order of time by any
State, but the number is to fill that ol
a defunct lodge and supply its place!

also. In short air the addresses were
good and well listened to by an at
tentive and appreciative audience.
Time and space forbid even a fair!

give to the person producing such animal
or bird a certificate of compliance with
