Slater, the gentleman who sawed lumber , for Robinson & Bonner oo Little Tionesta during last summer, died rather mysteriously f.t his home near Neilltown, on Tues day night of last week. The family had all gone away during the evening leaving Mr. Slater at home. Return ing they found 4)im absent, but think ing he had gone out to spend the eve ning with some of the neighbors, they retired for the night expecting him in at any time. The' next morning the members of the family were sur prised at his continued absence, and upon searching were horrified to find him dwtd at the barn.
