Graphic that the man Clark, who was
hurt a few weeks ngo at the raising of
a barn, at Russell's Mill, this county,
is a resident of Pinecreek twp., Jeffer
son county, aud that he was not so
badly hurt as was at first reported ;
his collar bone was broken and his
body otherwise bruised, but he is now
able to be about again.

A letter received from our Cooks
burg correspondent just after our last
week's paper was issued, states that,
owing to unavoidable delays the Cook
McClure & Co. well No. 2 was then
down only 150 feet. The Fisk well,
on the Henry farm, about a mile and
a half from the former was to com
mence drilling last week. Our cor
respondent promises to lot us know if
anything important takes place in that
section.
