is confident of ultimate success.
A curious error has crept into the
politics of lkiruett township, and in a
very curiona manner. Wc were run

operations in Harnett towmdiip, from
our Cooksbnrg correspondent, is dated

concerned in the Forest County Oil
Field, as it has heretofore been impos

Mr. C. F. Gillespie, of Whig Hill,

Col. Thouiaa was taken to West
Chester last week. His condition is

Meadville is stirred up by the dis
covery of coal at a place called Dutch
Hill, about six miles from that city

to be a good article.
