Gushes, Ind., March 20. A peculiar pen
sion cae is that of Mary E. Pewey, of this
place, wto served throughout the civil war,
disguised as a male private, in the Twenty
sixth Lefciment, Ohio Volunteers, under the
alits of Charles Pewey, She now applies
for a pension. A gunshot wound in the left
received during her service forms the basis
of her claim for original jiension.
