Contempt of Court.
The stories of early western judges are
almost as numerous and incredible as
the bear stories of that part of the coun
try. The following incident, which is
vouched for a fact, is of a judge w ho had
very lofty idea of his own legal capacity

Michigan avenue street car on Friday

Old Sitlem, in Massachusetts, like the

come much modernized, but the older
folk of the town clung long to their lab-
