Mass., delivered a lecture before the students of the South Western State Normal School, on the even ing of the 19th inst., on the following sub ject : 'Seven Modern Wonders of the World.' He opened the subject with the sentence: '(.od be thanked, there are no foreign lands.' He said a modern wonder of the world is a historical tendency, a conspiracy of events.
