herd lead us," and soon after Mr. William
Zimmerman ,,enetl the ijiiestion, "How
should the Others and Teachers be chosen ?"
This subject was discussed earnestly by oth
er inemlxTs of the convention also. Music

Mr. C. J. Musser then proceeded to discuss
the last subject 011 the programme. "How
can we keep up an Interest in the Sunday
School on the part of Parents, Teachers anil
Pupils?" The sicaking 011 this topic was
spirited and interesting. Several referred
iiiestions were answered, a resolution thank
ing our friends of Stoystown unit vicinity
for their hospitality was passed, the Secreta
ry was instructed to rcort for the county
and church papers, and a committecapitiint
c,l to draft resolutions expressive of the
sense of the convention relative to the top
ics tliseiis'ied. A collection to defray necessa
ry cxH iises was nitcii; a surplus remaining
was by motion devoted to the use of the
Sunday School connected with the Johns
town Mission church.
