Axt one who examines the November Ai.Dtxt; will lie surprised at th sumptu ousness of its illustrations, as well as the high literary merit of its poetry and prose. Besides the two full iage original pictures, this numlier contains reproductions of three celebrated steel engravings, which alone would cost at the picture shojis no less than thirty dollars. The Aldine pictur es) are in every way as tine as the steel en gravings. Thc first illustration is a full paee view of Lake Mohonk, in I'Istcr Coun ty. "A Chance meeting," and "Ihe first visit," after Rudaux, are two ten der and charming pictures of the love life of an attist.
