The Grand Jurors, after having passed upon all
business laid before them by the Court and District
Attorney, (and they very much regret to see that the
criminal business of the county is so much on the
increase.) proceeded to view ihe public buildings.
They find that the publio offices in the Court House
are kept in aduiiruble order. The officers being
gentlemanly and obliging, are an honor to the
county. We regret to Hud the court room is so con

Comniissiouurs to appoint a suitable person to ex

In the examinations of the Sheriff's office and Jail,
we found some repairs necessury to the windows ;
also two sieves lor the rooms, two chairs and bedding
for the female department, the pump and floor re
paired . A Uo a partition thrown across the hall from
the otfice door to the room door, to prevent persons
from banding anything to the prisoners, and that
tbeot tino be put uuder all the stoves, to guard
against fire.

both." Just io, if a man buys the cloth for hit
clothes, he hat to take it to a tailor to make into a
