GMTLIMt5!
After a careful examination of your "Amer
ican pleaders assistant," I take pleasure in ex.
pressing my entire approval of the selection and
composition of th precedent thus offered to the
public. 1 he legal profession in Pennsylvania
stands in need of a correct evstero of pleading,
adapted to our habits of business, and the practice
of the court. I our forms of declaration being,
to a great extent, founded on the act of assembly
will be a aving of labor to th pleader, and con
duce to safutv and brevity in our pleading.
It should be in the hand of every practising
lawyer in our state.
Yours, with great respect,
JNO.J. PE ARSON.

W. MtCsKTT, Esq.,
Dear Sir: I received more than a year ago
a copy of "Kecd.s Pleaders Assistant improved
by Judge Jordan and other. I examined it with
some enre soon afterwards, and have had occa
sion to use it several time since. I think it de
cidedly valuable as a inanucl for practising
attorney in Pennsylvania, and do not hesitate
to recommend it. If it were generally used it
would increase the accuracy of the profession in
mutter which are ollen very carelessly done.
I am very truly yours, ir.,
J. 8. BLACK.
I also received a enpv of the Pleaders' Assist
ant, and have examined it sufficiently to enal.Ie
me to concur very heartily in the above coalmen
da lions by the Chief Justice.
