Important among these changes arc the following, viz: Policies, instead of being perpetual, are Issued for nve years All Kroportv it classified and the rate of premium is fixed according to the ri.sk of the property. Premium notes are taken, and all assessments aro made on the notes. Property is insured for not more than two thirds of its actual cash value, and the full amount of insurance paid in case of kssr provided the loss bo equal to the amount of insurance. "Annua! assessments" only are mad except in casea of heavy loss, and where a special assessment ia necessary.
