Notice is hereby given that the co-partner
ship heretofore existing between the under
signed, trading under the -firm name of
Brown & Keller, has this day been dissolved

The School-Board of Stroudsburg has re
solved to apply to the Legislature for the fol
lowing Acts :
AN ACT
Authorizing the School Directors of the Bor
ough of Stroudsburg, in the county of Monroe,
to sell and convey certain Real Estate and bull
ding in said Borough.
bectwn 1. Be it enacted. &c. That the school
directors of the borough of Stroudsburg in the
county of Monroe, be and they are hereby au
thorized and empowered to sdl. at public sale
tne Academy property, located in said borough,
the title lo which was vested in the school dis
trict of the borough of Stroudsburg, by an act
of Assembly, entitled "an act to vest the title
of certain property to the borough of Strouds
burg, 1'ennsylvania, to the board of School
Directors of said borough ;" approved the
twentieth day of March. A. IX. one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-two, and convey
the same to the purchaser or purchasers. The
net proceeds of such sale to be paid to the
Treasurer of the school fund of said borough
to be applied to school purposes.
AN ACT
To authorize the School Directors of the
borough of Stroudsburg, in the eountv of

poses.
Section 1. Be it enacted. &c That the
School Directors of the borouch of Strouds
burg, in the county of Monroe, be and they
are hereby authorized to borrow any amount
of money not exceeding Fifteen Thousand
Dollars, payable at any time not exceeding
fifteen years from the passage of this act, and
to issue bonds therefor, at a rate of interest not
exceeding seven per centum per annum.
Signed by the President and Secretary of the
board, for the purpose of erecting a suitable
building, and purchasing furniture for the use
of the schools of said borough, and such bonds
so issued as aforesaid, shall be exempt from
taxation except for State purposes.
