Brodhcadsvillc, where the building of the
Wickkusham German-English Formal
School will be erected, is a rural village, sur
rounded by a country of surpassing beauty.
The wood-crowned hills, and fertile valleys
watered by beautiful streams and dotted with
fresh-water lakes, render a landscape ever
new and ever pleasing. This, in connection
with'healthfulness of the locality consump
tion and epidemics are almost unknown here
makes it pre-eminently a place for a
XOPMAL SCHOOL. Moreover, the

Persons from a distance desiring to reach
the school can do so per stage from Strouds
burg, on the Delaware, Lackawanna, and
Western Railroad on Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday of each week ; from Lchiirhton,
on the Lehigh Valley Railroad, and Weiss
port, on the Lehigh and Susquehanna Rail
road, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
of each week ; also from Hickory Run, aud
other points.

As the Public School House in which the
first session of the Institute will commence,
affords accommodations for only thirty-two
students, - those who intend to apply for
admission, will consult their interests by ap
plying soon.
