    Denoumentcf tha White Haven Burglary.
Our readers will recollect the darin
burglary which was perpetrated in White
Jlaven, on the 9th of July last, by which
the Lehigh Coal & .Navigation Company
lost fomcthiog like S40.000 from the
safe in their office at that place tho
particulars of which appeared in the Ga
zette nt that time. The robbery took
place just at the time when the Compa
ny had forwarded to White Haven the
above specified amount for the purpose
of paying their employees on that Divi
sion of their railroad, and was perpetrated
by means of false keys ichile tico men
icerc asltfjy tn the room. Since the com
mission of the theft the Company have
been on the alert for 'the detection of the
guilty parties, and it jnow appears that
the act was committed by a party of some
four or five individuals and was. the re
sult of a regularly organized conspiracy.
Ooe of these men who had not been dealt
fairly with by. the others, let fall some
hints regarding the affair some days siuce,
and he was at once arrested by the Com
pany's detectives, and intimidated into
divulgiug the whole secret. His state
ment sets forth that some parties from
Xew York planned the burglary and in
duccd a landlord, named Stark at whose
hotel they were staying, to joiu them.
The keys of the safe were stolen from
the coat pocket of the Superintendent,
Mr. Crelin, impressions taken, and the
keys returned without their absence hav
ing been noticed. With false keys made
from these impressions one of the parties
eutcred the office four different times and
searched the safe, but there not being
sufficient moucy in it to warrant a rob
bery he left it unmolested until the time
arrived for the reception of the meney to
pay the employees lor June. Then the
deed was perpetrated and the money di
vided some $t,500, it is stated, being
the share of Stark. As soon as these
faets were made known, the landlord was
arrested and lodged in jail at Wilkcs
15arre, but released on bail.' The others
have not yet been apprehended, but will
propably be reached before many days.
Wc trust they ma' be, and the whole
party dealt with to the extent of the law.

Dr. SHENCK'S PULMONIC SYRUP.
I his great medicine cured Dr. J. H.

remedy. His health was restored in a very
short time, and no return of -the disease has
ueen appreuenueu tor an tne symptoms

quickly disappeared, and his present weight
is more than two hundred pounds.
Since his recovery, he has devoted his at
tention exclusively to the cure of Consump
tion, and the diseases whicli arc u-ually
complicated with it, and the cures effected
by his medicines have been very numerous
and truly wondertul. Dr. Schenck makes
professional visits to several of the larger
cities weekly, where he has a lanre concourse
ot pitiens, and it is truly astonishing to see
poor consumptives that have to be lilted ont
of their carriages, and in a few months
healthy, robust persons. Dr. SCHENCK'S
