lege Land Scrip, being the balance of the
Scrip granted t the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania lor the endowment of Agricul
tural Colleges in this State.

sioners of Agricultural Land bcrip, will be
received at the Surveyor General's office, at
llarrisburg, until 1 o'clock, M., on Wed
nesday, April 10, 1607.
This land may be located in any State or
Territory, by the holders of the scrii, upon
anyoJ the unappronriate lands(except mineral
lands) of the United Statee, which may be
subject to sale at private entry. Eich piece
of tcrip represents a quarter section of one
hundred and sixty acres, is issued in blank,
anf will be transferable, without endorse
ment or formal assignment. The bl ink need
not be filled until the scrip is pre.-euted for
location and entry, when the party holding
it can fill the blank and enter the land ii
his own name. Bids must be made aa per
acre, and no bids will he received for less
than one quarter section.
The Scrip will be issued immediately on
the payment of the n.onry to the Surveyor
General. On all bid for a less quantity
than 40,000 acres, one-third of the purchase
money must Le paid v ithm ten days, andth
remaining two thirds within thirty days af
ter notilicition f the acceptance of the bid
or L ds by the Board of Commissioners.
