This is an article for washing without
rubbing, except in very dirty places, which
will require a very slight rub, and unlike
other prepaiations offered for a like purpose,
WILL ISOT R .T TKE CLOTHES, but Will leave
them much whiter than ordinary methods,
without the usual wear and tear.
It removes grease spots as if by mag e,
and softens the dirt by soaking, so that rins
ing will in ord.nary cases entirely remove
it. .
This powder is prepared in accordance
with chemical science, and upon a process
peculiar to itself, which is secured by Let
ters Patent. It has been in us? for more
than a year, and has proved itself an univcr-t-al
favorite wherever it has been used. A
mon" the advantages claimed arc the follow
ing, viz.
It salves all the expense of soap usually
used on cotton and linen goods.
It saves most -of the labor of rubbing, and
wear and tear.
Also, for cleaning windows it is unsur
passed. With one quarter the time and hi
bor usually required it imparts a beautiful
gloss and lustre, much feuperior to any other
moJe. No watei required except to miostcn
the powder.
Directions with each package.
And can be readily appreciated by a sin
gle triu 1. The cost of washing for a family
of live or six persons will not cxcec4 three
CENTS.
The manufacturers of this powder are a-
ware that nrnny useless compounds have been
introduced to she public which have rotted
the cloth, or failed in removing the dirt, but
knowning the intrinsic excellence of this ar
ticle, they confidently proclaim it as being
adapted to meet a demand which has long
existed, and which has heretofore remained
unsupplied.

persons know the danger and folly of trust

the traveling dentist. It matters not how
much experience a person may have, he is
liable to have some failures out of a number
of cases, and if the dentist lives at a distance
it is frequently put off until it is too late to
save the tooth or teeth as it mav be, other
wise the inconvenience and trouble of roinT
so far. Hence the necessity of obtaining the
services of a dentist near home. All work
