Accounts from Tennessee show that the guerilla bands which are still organized in that region are engaged in a terrible work of outrage and murder in cold blood, and indiscriminate plunder and robbery are the order of the day in some quatcrs. It seems as though these rebels need a little more of milhtnry rule to arrest them m their murder ous work. MARRIED. On Thursday, Oct. 5, at the M. E. Parsonage,. Stroudsburg, b liev. W. J. It is a concentrated extract of Para Sarsaparilla, to combined with other substance of still greater alterative power a3 to' afford an effective antidote for tbo diseases SarsaparHla is reputed to cure. It is believed that such a rem edy is wanted by those who suffer from Stru mous complaints, and that one which will ac complish their cure must prove of immense ser vice to this largo class of our afflicted fellow citizens. How completely this Compound will do it has been proven by experiment on many of the worst cases to be found of tho following complaints : SCROFtiLA ASD ScitOrULOUS COJIPLAIKTS, Eruptions axi Erui'tivb Diseases, Ul cers, Pimples, Blotches, Tumors, Salt HnEUM, Scald Head, Syphilis akd Stpiii litic Affections, Mercurial Disease, Dropsy, Neuralgia or Tic Doulourkaux, Debility, Dyspepsia and Indigestion, Erysipelas, Rose, or St. Anthony's Fire, and indeed tiic whole clasj of complaints arising from Impurity of the Blood. This compound will bo found agVcat pro moter of health, when taken in the spring, to ex pel the foul humors which fester in the blood at that season of thu year. By the timely expul sion of them many rankling disorders are nipped in the bud. Multitudes can, by tho aid of this remedy, spare themselves from tho endurance of foul eruptions and ulcerous sores, through which the system will strive to rid itself of corruptions, if not assisted to do this through tho natural channels of the body by an alterative medicine. Cleanse out the vitiated blood whenever yon find its impurities bursting through tho skin in pimples, eruptions, or sores ; cleans it when you find it i obstructed and sluggish in tbo Tcins ; elennso it whenever it is foul, and your feelings will tell you when. Even where no particular disorder i felt, people enjor better health, and livo longer, for cleansing the blood. Keep the blood healthy, and all is well; but with this pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the great machinery of life is disordered or overthrown. Sarsnparilla has, and deserves much, the repu tation of accomplishing these ends. But tho worlc? has been cgrcgiously deceived by prepara tions of it, partly because the drug alono has not all tho virtue that is claimed for it, but more be cause many preparations, pretending to be con centrated extracts of it, contain but little of tho rirtue of Sarsaparilla, or any thing else. During late years the public have been misled by large bottles, pretending to give a quart of Extract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. Most of these have been frauds upon the sick, for they not only contain little, if any, Sarsaparilla, but often no curative properties whatever. Hence, bitter and painful disappointment has followed the use of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which flood the market, until the name itself is justl' despised, and has become synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still wc call this compound Sariaparilla, nnd intend to nupply such a remedy as shall rescue the name from the load of obloquy which rests upon it. And wa think we have ground for believing it has vir tues which are irresistible by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intended "to cure. In order to secure their complete eradication from tho sys tem, the remedy should be judiciously taken ac cording to directions on the bottle. trepared nr iK. 3. C. A YE K & CO., LOWELL, MASS.
