Ayer's Cathartic Pills
ARE the most perfect purgative which we
are able to produce or which v,e think
has ever been made by any body. Their ef
fects have abundantly shown to the commu
nity how much they excel the ordinary med
tcines in use. They are sa!e and pleasant
to take, but powerful to cure. Their pene
trating properties stimulate the vital activi
ties of the body, remove the obstructions o!
its organs, purify the blood, and expel dis
ease. They purge out the foul humors which
breed and grow distemper, stimulate sluggish
or disordered organs into then natural action,
and impart a healthy tone with strength to
the whole system. Not only do they euro
the every-day complaints of everybody, hut
also formidable and dangerous diseases.
While they produce powerful effects, they
are at the same time, in diminished doses,
the safest and best physic that can be em
ployed for children. Being sugar-coated,
they are pleasant to take; and being purely
vegetable, are free from any risk of harm.
Cures have been made which surpass belief,
were they not substantiated by men of such
exalted position and character, as to forbid
the suspicion of untruth. Many eminent
clergymen and nhysiciars have lent their
names to certify to the public the reliability
ox our reuieuies, auiic otners !i?.ve sent ua
the assurance ot their conviction thai, our
f reparations contribute immensely to the re
lief of our afflicted, suffering fellow men.
The agent below named is pleased to fur
nish gratis our American Almanac, contain
ing directions for Ihe use and certificates 0
their cures, of the following complaints:
Cotivoness, Billions Complaints, Rheuma
tism, Dropsy, Heat tburn. Headache arisin"
from foul stomach, Nausea, Indigestion, Mor
bid inaction of the Bowels and Pain arising
therefrom, Flatulency, loss of Appetite, all
uiseases winch requirean evneuunt medicine.
They also, by. purifying tho blood and stimu
lating the sy tern, cure many complaints which
it would not bo supposed they could reach,
such as Deafness, Partial Blindness, Neural
gia and Nervous Irritability, Derangement
of the Liver and Kidneys, Gout, and other
kindred complaints arising from u low state
of the body, or obstruction of its functions.
Do not be put off by unprincipled dealers
with other preparations which they mnke
more profit on. Demand Arm's and take
no others. The sick want tho best aid thrp
is for them, and they should have it.

J. IjANTS, bentist,
Has permanently located him-
seil in stroudsburg, und moved
his office next dooi in Dr. S.
Walton where he is fullv nrounrnd in trnnt
ihe natural teeth, and also to insert incorrup-
uoie arunciiu teetli on pivot and plate, in the
latest and most improved manner. Most
nersons know the danger and folly of trust
ing their work to the ignorant as well as
the traveling dentist. It matters not how
much experience a person may have, he it
liable to have some failures out of a numbes
of cases, and if the dentist lives at a distancer
it is frequently put off until it is too late to
save the tooth or teeth as it mav be, other
wise the inconvenience and trouble of going
eo far. Hence tho necessity of obtaining the
services of a dentist near home. All work
warranted.

Dear Sirs: Having realized in my fami

Wild Cherry it affords me pleasure to re
commend it to the public. Some eight rears
ago one of my daughters seemed to be in a
decline, and little hopes of her recovery were
entertained, I then procured a boltleof your
excellent Balsam, and before she had taken
the whole of the contents of the bottle there
was a great improvement in her health. I
have, m my individual case, made frequent
use of your valuable medicine, and have al
ways been benefitted by it.
