Dyspepsia or Waterbrash, and tried almost everything
within my reach, but to no benefit, until I was induced
by the recommendation of my physician, Dr. Hazel ton,

as a speciality, he has become possessed
of most invalunble information in regard to
the same, and is able to compress into vadp
mecum compas the very quintessence of med
ical science on this important subject; as the
result of the experience of the most eminent
physicians in Europe and America is thor
oughly demonstrated in his own highly suc
cessful practice in the treatment of secret
diseases in many thousands of cases in the
City of Philadelpia alone.
Testimony of the Professor of Obstetrics in
Penn. College, Philada.
"Dr. Hunter's Medical Manuel." The
author of this work, unlike the majority ol
those who advertise to cure the diseases of
which it treats, is a graduate of one of the
best Colleges in the United States. It affords
me pleasure to recommend mm to tne unior
tunate, or to the victim of malpractice, as a
successful and experienced practitioner, in
whose honor and integrity they may place
the greatest confidence.
JOSEPH S. LONGSHORE, M. D.
From A. Woodioard, M. D. of Penn. Uni
versity, Philada.
It gives me pleasure to add my testimony
to the professional ability of the author of the
"Medical Manuel." Numerous cases of Dis
eases of the Genital Organs, some of them of
long standing, have come under my notice
in which his skill has been manifest in restor
ing to perfect health, in some instances where
the patient has been beyond medical aid. In
the treatment of Seminal weakness or disar
rangements of the functious produced by self
abuse or excess of venery, I do not know his
superior in the protession. I have been ac
quainted with the Author some thirty years,
and deem it no more than justice to him as
well as a kindness to the unfortunate victim
of early indiscretion, to recommend him as
one in whose professional skill and integrity
they may safely confide themselves.

To Prof. O. J. Wood : Dear Sir: Your
Hair Restorative is rapidly gaining popularity
in this community. I have had occasion to
ay prejudice aside, and give your Hair Re
storative a perfect test :
During the year 1854, 1 was so unfortuate
s to be thrown from my sulky against a
rock near the roadside, from which my head
received a most terrible blow; causing a great
deal of irritation, which communicated to the
brain and external surface of the head, from
the effects of which my hair was finallv de
stroyed over the entire supface of the head.
From the time I first discovered its dropping,
however, up to the time ot its total disappear
ance, I employed everything I could think
of, being a professional man myself, and, as
I thought, understanding the nature of the
disease, but was finally defeated in every pre
scription advanced.
These and no other circumstances induced
me to resort to your worthy Hair Restorative,
which I ha.ve every reason to believe, pro
duced a very happy result: two months after
the first application, 1 had as beautiful a head
of young hair asl ever saw, for which I cer
tainly -owe you my most sincere thanks.
Rest assured, dear sir, I shall use my influ
ence, which 1 flatter myself to say, is not a
little.
You can publish this if you think proper.

Dear Sir: I feel it my duty as well as my

cumstance, which you can use as you think
proper. A gentleman of this place, (n law

youth; so much so, that he was compelled
to wear a wig. lie was induced to use a
bottle of your "Hair Restorative," which he
liked very much; and after using some two
or three bottles his hair grew out quite lux
uriantly, and he now has a handsome hem)
of hair. The gentleman's name is Bradford
and as he is very well known in our adjoin
ing counties, many persons can testify to the
truth of this statement; I give it to you a
the request of Mr. Bradford. You can sel
a great deal of your Hair Restorative jn this
and the adjoining counties if you have the
proper agents. lours, &c.
