THE OXrGENATEI BITTEES, . CONTAINING NO ALCOHOL. Reliable Testimony. We call the attention oj Ute reader to the following letter from President Smith, of JVesleyan University: Middle-town, Conn., Feb. 23, 1859. Eeth V. Fowle 4c Co. Gentlemen : I first made use of the Oxygenated Bitters some seven or eight years since. Having suffered for twenty years from a form of dyspepsia, which was attended with a nervous headache, on an averazo of not less than ono day in a week, I was induced, by tho unpretending rec ommendation of Dr. Green, " to try one bottle, and if no benefit was received to discontinue the use." The use of ono bottle warranted a further trial, to tho extent of some three or four, with a careful observance of tho accompanying directions. Tho result was, an utmost entire relief from tho usual dyspeptic symptoms and their depressing, painful consequences. I belicvo these Kilters produced an entire changoin the habits of my system, and upon the activo energies of the digestive orpins. I now deem myselfas exempt from Dyspepsia as must persons. These Bitters bavo also been of bcr rico to other members of iny family. Very respectfully yours, AUGUSTUS W. SMITH. THE OXYGENATED BITTERS. THE OXYGENATED BITTEKS. Stoddard, Jf. II., Sept. 30, 1859. Messrs. Seth W. Fowle & Co., Gents : I was, for many years, a great sufferer from Dyspepsia or Watcrbrash, and tried almost everything within my roach, but to no benefit, until I was induced by the recommendation of ray physician, Dr. Hazelton, to make use of the Oxygenated Bittcra. Tho first bottle produced but a slight alteration in the disease, and had It not been for the urgent request of my physician, I chouM then have discontinued their use, thinking them to be of no avail ; but bis confidence inspired mo to per severe, and after using to tho extent ot half a dozen bot tle, I had entirely regained my health. I hope all Dyspeptic persons will be induced to give them a fair trial, being confident that the remedy is the most potent, for tho various forms of Dyspepsia, that lias been pro duced. Yours, STEARNS FOSTER. OxYGEXATED IUtters. To such of our readers a are troubled with tho debility incident to the approach of warm weather, wo cordially recommend the use of the Oxygenated Bitters as an invigorating tonic, con taining no alcohol in its composition, and josscssing more real merit than any preparation of the kind wo kavo ever known. SILVER'S PLASTIC PAINTS: CHEAP, durable and protective, Weather aad Fire-5roof. These paints will stand any climate, with out crack or blister and harden by exposure, thus making in time an enamel of stone, protecting Wood from decay, and Iron and other metals from rust and corosion. They differ, essentially, from the so-called mineral paints of the day which are, principally, O chres and Clays, and are entirely worthless. Silver's Plastic Paints are Purely ME- TALIC, containing no Alumin or Clay. They arc levigated finely, mix readily with Linseed Oil, (without the trouble of grind ing,) and flow under the brush as the best White Lead, and excel all others in body or covering properties, one pound ot which will cover as much surface, as two pounds of White LeDd, reducing the cost two-thirds. There are six distinct colors, viz: Olive, j Light Brown Light Chocolate, Black, J Dark do. Deep do. All equally valuable as a preservative Paint and particularly adapted to painting The outside of Buildings, Fences, Steam boats, Cars, Tin and Iron work. OrREMEMBER! Exposure Hardens and increases the Durability of these Paints.
