We call the attention oj the reader to the following
Utter from President Smith, of Wcsleyan University:
JIiddletow, Conn., Feb. 3, 1850.
Eetii W. Fowle &: Co. Gontlomcn:--I first
rnado use oftho Oxygenated Bitters somo seven or
eight years since. IIa-ing suffered for twenty years
from a fonn or dyspepsia, which was attended with a
nervous headache, on an average of not less than ono
day in a week, I was induced, hy the unpretending rec
ominondatioa of Dr. Green, " to try one bottle, and if
jio benefit was'received to discontinue the use."
The use of ono bottle warranted a further trial, to the
extent of somo three or four, with a caroful obsorvanco
of the accompanying directions. The result was, an
ftlnos: entire relief from tho usual dyspeptic symptoms
nd thoir depressing, painful consequences. I believo
tlic-e Hitters produced an entire change in the habits of
!ny-Fytein, and wpon the active energies of the digostivo
orrano. I now deem myself as cxehipt from Dyspepsia
as him jterswis. T1kc Bitters have also beeu of &er
vice to other tiiMHbers of my family.
Very respectfully your?,
AUGUSTUS W. SMITH.

Has permanently located him-
fec self in Stroudsburg, and moved
J- his office next door to Dr. S.
Walton , and nea rly opposite S. Rees's Hat &
Cap store, where he is fully prepared to treat
the natural teeth, and also to insert incorrupt
ible artificial teeth on pivot and plate, in the
latest and most improved manner. Most per
sons know the danger and folly of trusting
their work to the ignorant as well as the
traveling dentist. It matters not how much
experience a person may have, he is liable to
have some failures out of a number of cases,
and if the dentist lives at a distance, it is fre
quently put off until it is too lateto save the
tooth or teeth as it may be, otherwise the in
oonvenience and trouble of going so far.
Hence the necessity of obtaining theservices
of n dentist near home,
All work warranted.
