    Ayefs Sarsaparilla,
A compound remedy, in which we have" labored
to produce the most cDcctual alterative that can
te imide. It is a concentrated extract of Para
rvtrsnparilla, s-o combined with other substances
of still greater nhenuivo power in to afford an
effective antidote for the diseases Sarsaparilla ia
reputed to cure. It is believed tlnit pueh n rcm
edv is wanted bv those who suffer from Stru
tnouis complaints, and that one which will ac
complish their cure must -ovc of immcn?o ser
vice to this larpe class of our a'.llietcd fellow
citizens. How completely thi. compound will
do it has Ikjch p-vcn by experiment on many
of the worst easci to be found of the following
complaints :
Scijprnn axi) ?caorr;.or? Complaints,
Entri-noics and Knurxivi: Diseases. Ul

I;kys2:'HLA3, IIosb, ot: St. Anthony's Fire,
ntid indeed t'.:e whole ei.is.i of complaints arising
from biPCuiTY o? tin: Blood.
Tliis compound will lit) found r.-rcat pro
moter of health, w!:cm taken in the sprm", to cx
iol the foul hnmon vieh fester in the blood at
that seasou of tiro rear. By the timely expul
sion of them manvni::klingdi.--ordcw arc nipped
in the hutl. Multitudes can, by the aid of thu
remcdv, spare themselves from the endurance of
foul eruptions and ulcerous fores,- through whie.i
the svstem will nrive to rid it-clf of corruptions
if no't assisted to do tin tliroaglr the natural
channel! of the bodv bv an alterative medicine.
Cleanse out the vitiated blood whenever you
find its impurities bursting through tiro skin in
iiimplcs, eruptions, or sores ; cleanse it wuen
von find it is obstructed ami riujrtftsh in the
Vsias ; cleanse it whenever it is foul, and your
feelings will tell you when. liven where no
particular disorder u felt, people enjoy tetter
health, and livo longer, for cleansing the blood.
Keep the blood hcaithv, and all is well; but
vith-this pabulum of fife disordered, there can
be no lasting health. Sooner or later something
ruM go wrong, and the great machinery of life
iii disordered or overthrown.
Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the repu
tation of accomplishing"" these ends. 13ut the
world has been egrcgiously deceived by prepara
tions of it, pardv became the drug alone has not
ull the virtue that is claimed for it. but more be
cause many preparations, pretending to Ikj con
centrated extracts of it, contain but little of the.
vfrtne of Sarsapariibi, or any thing cl.-e.
During lata years the public have been misled
bv large' bottle's, pretending to give a quart of
lixtract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. .Most of
those have been- frauds upon the sick, for they
r.ot only contain liale, if any, Sarsaparilla, but
often no curative properties whatever. Hence,
bitter and painful disaj)ointmcnt has followed
the use of the various- extracts of Sarsaparilla
vhich Slood the market, until the name itself is
justlv despised, and has become synonymous
with' imposition and cheat- Still we call this
compound Sarsaparilla,-and intend to supply
uch a rcmedv as shall rescue die name from the
load of obloquy which re-ts npon it. And we
think we have'ground for believing it has vir
tue which are irresistible by the ordinary run of
the diseases it is intended to cure. In order to
ftoi urc their eomp'.eie eradication from the nrs
tii:i, the rentcdy should be judiciously tal;cn ac
cording to directions on the bottle.

SILVER'S PLASTIC PAINTS :
CHEAP, DURABLE AND PROTECTIVE,
Weather aacl Fire-Proof.
These paints will stand any climate, with
out crack or blister and harden by exposure,
thus making in time an enamel of stone,
protecting Wood from decay, and Iron and
other metals from rust and corosion. They
differ, essentially, from the so-colled mineral
paints of the day which are, principally, O-
chres and Clays, and are entirely worthless.
Slivers Plastic Paints are Purely Mb-
TALIC, containing no Alumin or Clay.
They are levigated finely, mix readily with
Linseed Oil, (without the trouble of grind
ing,) and flow under the brush as the best
White Lead, and excel all others in body or
covering properties, one pound of which will
cover as much surface, as two pounds ot
White Lead; reducing the cost two-thirds.
There are six distinct colors, viz:
Olive, I Light Brown I Light Chocolate,
Black, J Bark do. Deep do.
All equally valuable as a preservative
Paint and particularly adapted to painting
The outside of Buildings, Fences, Steam
boats, Cars, Tin and Iron work.
0r REMEMBER! Exposure Hardens
and increases the Durability of these Paints.
DIRECTIONS Mix with pure Linseed
oil, as thickly as possible, as the Paint ihe
astinff protecting body, and the oil simply the
medium or agent in spreading it.

the Custom House, which he is prepared

sonable terms. Our stock consists of French

Landlords will find it greatly to their ad
vantage to deal with tne. I have no hired
agents to sell and distribute liquors for meat
great expense, which must be paid for by the
consumer. Those dealing with me I intend
shall be satisfied with the article they get, as
well as the price, and whenever they are not,
I will be pleased to have them return the
liquor, and make the fact known, for I in
end to make it a permanent bnsiness, and
can only do so by dealing honorably. All
orders sent me, by stage drivers or others, will
be promptly attended to, the same as though
the person was present dealing for himself.
JulyS, 1S2. P. S. POSTENS.
Has permanently located Him
self in Stroudsburg, and moved
- his ofilce next door to Dr. S.
Walton, and nearly opposite S. Rees's Hat &
Cap store, where he is fully prepared to treat
the natural teeth, and also to inse.rt incorrupt
ible artificial teeth on pivot and plate, in the
latest and most improved manner. Mostper
sons know the danger and folly of trusting
their work to the ignorant as well as the
traveling dentist. It matters not how much
experience a person may have, he is liable to
have some failures out ot a number of cases,
and if the dentist lives at a distance, it is fre
quently put oft" until it is too late to save the
tooth or teeth as it may be, otherwise the in-
oonvenience and trouble ot going so far.
Hence the necessity of obtaining theservices
of a dentist near home. All work warranted.
