The faot that the claim of Rodman M. Price to the Gubernatorial Chair of New Jersey will be contested at the next ses sion of the Legislature of that State has been made public. Mr. Price has received a notice to that eliect signed by JOEL Haywood, who was his competitor for the office at the late election. The grounds of contest are, that Mr. Price is not olighible for the station because he had not been a resident of the State for seven years next before the election, and that his absence therefrom was not upon business of the State or of. the United States.
