There has been quite a reaction in the mar
bets within the past two days, estrictclatly to
grain and flour. occasioned bY the adVerse
Ovine. from both east and welt, and while
there b at l ive n no quotable decline here as yet•
the indications point pretty etrongly in that
direction. The relapse bread:Quits is owing
part laity to the advance In ocean freights. but
mainly to the fact that the advance was en
tirely ton rapid to he healthy. Only neutral
eessoliare allowed for slob shipments. and
-they are crowded with cargoes and exact the
last cent they can get.. Nor in this relapse con
fined to breadstuff. alone; sugars, coffees and
nil others articles affected by gold, are easier,
though not as yet quotably lower.
