GROCERIES—The grOcery market con
tinues somewhat excited. and sugars and cof
fees have advanced materially -since the date
or our last weekly report, la sympathy with
the advance to 'told, and asidways is the case
when the market is advancing, the demand
has improved very materially, though there
Is nearly always an active inquiry for sugars
at the commencement of the fruit season.
Teas. also, are strong and higher, and New
Orleans molasses are scarce and tending up
