time. and attention of dealers generally being
absorbed In discussing the disaster. of Tues
day. and, as a consequence, sve have eat a
single sale to report. The statements in re
gard to the destruction of property . and loss
of oil, are, as might be expected. very con
flicting, and while there are those who Con
tend that the reports of the alaster as furn
ished by the newspapers, were greatly exag
gerated, there are others, equally as well
posted: who Incline to the belief that the
