following latest Information will be of inter

like a total failure In wheat. On all low lands
which have been sown before January the
yield promises well. We have seen many

no drought can note blight them. In all the

will be fully average. In the valleys, where

hopeful. and while It Is thought that the worst
Is over. business continues dull. though this
Is usually the case at this season of the year.
The demand for metal is by no means active.
though. as will be seen, the sales are some
what larger, and it is but proper to remark in
this connection that stocks are comparatively
