One gentleman is covering the wall of hie
hall with handsome embroidered leather,
and a heavy paper in excellent imitation
of this is used for libraries.
The floors of the drawinwrooms,and.
fact, nearly all of the mono excepting
chambers, are laid In hard wood in fancy
patterns, and bright raga are placed before
the sofas and doors. These Moors are
waxed anti polished till they shine and an
as smooth as glace, and are eery beautiful
and suitable for a' summer-house. They
have low . been used for halls and dining
roams, but not for parlors until this sea
eon. ,In one new hour! - the old.fashioned
colored tilt* are set around the mantel
piece, and the hearth is composed of them.

of the interior of the cottages, and when

much more striking and novel in their
