WEDNESDAY, January s.—The cs6e of the Comcionwealth va. Mollie Beech, Indicted for keeping a common bawdy house, was resumed and concluded. The testimony on the part of the Com monwealti ‘ illeas- all etreuniegatitial, but of such a character as to indicate that the defendent kept a house for improper purposes. The defence offered no testi money, but Mr. Moore, oonnsel for the prisoner, made a strong appeal to the Jury on behalf of lila , client, Mr. Pear-. son followed for , the :Commonwealth, after which Judge Stowe delivered the charge to the jury. Hes reviewed the testimony and instructed the Jury that the law did not require the Common wealth to prove specified sots but the jury must be satisfied from all the tee th:money, that the house' wm kept for the purpose alleged in the' indictment. TbeJury then retired, and the prisoner was remanded to Jail.
