action of the court. The libels having
all been tilled out and presented incourt,

found against the Caldwells, who were
alleged assailatee of Blatchford In the

affair occurred near liptonville, Tenn.,
on Sunday. A party of meeked men
went to the house of Wm. Jones, s Nea
ter, for the purpose of disarming the
negroes working for him. Jones having
word of their coming, determined to rte

and well dispeeed, and made proper

fire which mused them to retreat, leav
