in oil circles, particularly difring theta/a
two or three day., nor is It confined to
oil circles alone. The "corner in oil"
wanted to be the principal theme of con
veraatlon among business men general
ly, particularly bankers. It la currently
reported that some heavy capitalists, not
Meetly engaged In the oil business,. are
rgely interested In the prrsent

ave not only loaned their credit, but
avanced large sums of money in order
to assist those who are managing It, and,
an a consequence, thin is pronounced one
of the most formidable movement's of the
kind ever attempted In po history of
the trade.
As we here repeatedly noted within
past few days, it has been peralatent.
