A correspondent takes exception to
our easement in yesterday's report in
regard to-the object of the recent "calls,"
as follows: "The object of the "Mall"
was apparently to get possession of the
actual oil In warehouse on the 20th, and
squeeze the "aborts" on the 30th. This
was to a great extent frustrated by the
parties who were holders of oil when
called, codling oa others, making the call
general and holding their actual oil in
reserve to be used se the exigences of
the day required."
