The bond market is barely sustained
since the decline of gold, and only the

quotations. The supply oh the market is
more than sufficient for all transactions
and larger lots are offered whenever
the market advances a little 'above the
average quotations.
Stooks have been dull undtheav, but
recovered at the close, except some of
the westeru roads, which are quite dull
and heavy.

GRAIN-Wheat, continues very scarce
and good to choice' winter still quoted

market and it cannot be laid down here at
anything like the above quotations, as
it is worth, nearly as much ih Chicago as
it Would bring here. • Corn is scarce,
,firm and advancing; may be quoted in
