M il I!ETROLEUM MARKET. El N CirriCE OF PITTSBURGH -AZETTH, THURSDAY, June 17, 1869. It is a noticeaole fact that oil is rela tively cheaper in New York that at any other piece, and it is claimed by those I f: who profess to be posted that New York "bearing," that is, endeavoring to force a still farther decline. Still, oil is relatively higher in New York than it is at Antwerp, and it is but natural to infer teat at present prices there is but little chance for business between these two t ports. Another noticeable ' feature is the fad that, recently, New York has been selling to Pittsburgh, instead of Pittsburgh s ling to New York, revers ing, as it re, the wheels of trade; though, thn far, the New Yorkers have made no shi ments to this place, while on the contrary. Pittsburgh has been Ipouring a constant stream of oil into Philadelphia foe several weeks, mostly on New York account. Prom the above it will be seen that-the business peenpety well muddled, and judging fromrst indications, it is likely to continue so for some time to come.. The Crude market. compared with yesterday, - sae hardly so strong, and prices, apparently, were tending down ; ward, though as yet, sellers generally do ; not seem disposed to make any material i concessions in order to effect sales. Sale 5,000.bb15, seller all year, at 14; and two "lines" of 1,000 each August and Sep tember at 15.
