The large movement appears to be meeting with gen eral favor on all skies, and it is more than probable that a fleet of three will be built by a company organized for the purpose in time for the movement of next season's grain. —We clip the following from the St. Louis Democrat: In accordance with the instructions of the Circuit Court, acting Marshal Morgan proceeded to' sell the steamboats Galatea and Tom Stevens. The libellants in the matter of the Galatea were Hiram Simmons and others, and those in the matter of the Tom Stevens, Gordon H. Wallace and others. The Galatea was the firstone put up. The attendance of steam boatnaen was not very numerous, and bidders were few, only about three per sons bidding on the boat. The bidding started at 12,000, which rapidly ran up,' to s3,ooo—the highest sum offered. The boat was knocked down at this to Col. Henry C. Brookmeyer. —A St. Louis , dispatch says:.
