There is a firmer feeling in Flour and
Grain, consequent upon an upward turn ih
Chicago during the past day or two, though
as yet there is no excitement here, no im
provement to note in the demand, and no
advance in prices. Other 'articles remain

quiet and unchanged, with hoWever, a fair
Volume of business in the aggregate; .as
has been the case for some time past. the
demand for almost everything is restricted

mainly : to supplying immediate wants. •
